Teenager is the time where a child begins to understand a life. In this time, a person is in a position that is no longer willing to be considered a child by his parents, teachers, friends, and all people who know him. In this teenager time, a child has been able to think critically. He also begins to find his identity by developing friendships. However, in this time, a child is susceptible with environmental influences around him. He will have good character if he mingles and socializes in a good environment which is controlled by the norms. Vice-versa, he will have bad personality if he mingles in a wrong environment. The association is very important to be controlled, because the delinquency is begun from the wrong association. If children were contaminated with negative things, their life and education will be down. This teenager delinquency will give effects toward aspects of life, especially in education aspect. In this essay the writer will discuss about “The Effects of Teenager Delinquency toward Education Quality”.
First, decline the achievement learning. When a child was be naughty or doing crime, he will not focus on his education again. A part of people say that a naughty child is no problem as long as he is smart. The writer doesn’t agree with this view. In the writer’s opinion, a child must have good character and high intelligence, both of the must balance. When a child did crime or delinquency, it must influence his education and make his achievement will be down.
Second, decline the education quality. If the teenager delinquency has spread to all aspects of education world, so it will cause bad effect to our education quality. Conger (1976) and Dusek (1977) said that teenager delinquency is a delinquency which is done by an individual under sixteen and eighteen years and the doers will be given sanctions and punishments. In conclusion, the teenager delinquency will cause big effects for our education quality, such as: decline achievement learning, decline the education quality, make our future be bleak and uncertain, and make the goals of education will be difficult to achieve. In a longitudinal study of a representative birth cohort followed to adulthood, we tested why cannabis use is associated with the emergence of psychosis in a minority of users, but not in others.
A functional polymorphism in the catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) gene moderated the influence of adolescent cannabis use on developing adult psychosis. Carriers of the COMT valine158 allele were most likely to exhibit psychotic symptoms and to develop schizophreniform disorder if they used cannabis. Cannabis use had no such adverse influence on individuals with two copies of the methionine allele.
These findings provide evidence of a gene x environment interaction and suggest that a role of some susceptibility genes is to influence vulnerability to environmental pathogens.

THE EFFECCT OF NAUGHTY ADOLESCANT
Anxiety and depression in adolescence has been on the increase of late. A fairly significant 5 percent of the kids and teens population suffers from clinical depression. This clinical anxiety and depression should be understood as different from the loose manner in which we tend to use the words anxiety and depression. Depression is the extended feeling of sadness, hopelessness, pessimism and despair that desists the adolescent from carrying about normal daily activities required in life.
The causes for anxiety and depression have not been identified unambiguously but there are certain factors that are known to increase the probability of anxiety and depression in adolescents. The first of these causes that has been researched and established as one that determines the risk of anxiety and depression in adolescents is heredity. The National Institute of Mental Health claims in a press release that depression is 40 to 70% inheritable. Experiences in the past that are linked to a major loss or setback can also trigger anxiety and depression in adolescence. Circumstances like the death of a close friend, parent or sibling, rejection from peer group chronic illness, psychological or sexual abuse and a physical disorder may lead to a higher probability of being afflicted with anxiety and depression.
Though there are medications available to ensure anxiety relief and depression management, these medications are not free from side effects and can cause more harm then help especially among adolescents. Natural treatments for anxiety are a much better option that can be sure to provide risk free solutions.
The first thing however is to understand the key symptoms that can give you the first indications of anxiety and depression in your teens. If these individual or combinations of symptoms persists for more than a period of 2 weeks, you should take action and probably use a Beck Depression Inventory to access the severity of the case. A depressed teen will show signs of an all-consuming sadness that leads to a feeling of emptiness and low self-esteem. Depressed teens tend to withdraw and cocoon themselves in a shell of their own. They loose interest in activities that they used to enjoy earlier. On the physical aspect, they may develop an eating disorder and either loose appetite or become anorexic. They may feel that they are tired all the time and as if someone has sucked out all life from them. This leads to a feeling of dejection and failure.
The physical manifestations of anxiety and depression in adolescents lead to many psychological issues. Concentration levels decrease and a sense of hopelessness and being worthless surfaces. A nagging fear of being abandoned by friends, relatives and parents constantly hounds these teens and at times results in panic attacks. The severity may reach a level where the teen may talk about suicide and delve on the subject for too long. The effect of anxiety and depression in adolescence has far more outreaching consequences. The effects lead to a lack of interest in hygiene, intermittent and short periods of crying, increased and sudden irritable bouts and aggression, fears and phobias.
Some of the more recognizable and commonly known symptoms of anxiety and depression disorders are recurring nightmares, irritability, loss of appetite and at times, even terrorism. Psychosomatic symptoms like headaches, dizziness and vomiting also start showing up in extreme cases.
Knowing these symptoms can help in identifying the issue and taking specific steps before it is too late. It is however, important to remember that this is just the start of the problem and that extreme patience and love shall be required to treat anxiety or clinical depression.

Family own a significant role in the development of adolescent personality how would a child or adolescent in the future, is determined by how students parents. Well, this is the way to educate the one thing that is questionable, exactly how does? But, one thing to remember is balance. Authoritarian or more soft terms firm, permissive and democratic levels must match. When the old authoritarian, then we refer to as juvenile delinquency will appear in the sense wanted to rebel. While if the permissive parent, teenagers will actually searching for attention with all his behavior is likely to lead to juvenile delinquency. I think, family comes first and most teens do not decide to fall into delinquency.
Teen promiscuity. Pressure friends and even bestfriend whether it is called a sense of solidarity, to accepted, and as an escape, really powerful tool for juvenile delinquency raises the deviant behaviors committed by teenagers. In essence what is done by a teenager while trying to attract the attention of the parents even more friends, is to satisfy themselves that their own teenagers. Satisfy here not only wrote it in a negative sense. However, in order to satisfy his obsession with it - often even 'outrageous' and 'excessive'. I think, it is very important for a teenager in determining who will become his friend this is very important because it is through this interaction they determine of their future.
Student brawls are nothing to be proud of because it hurt a lot of parties. There are at least four categories of negative impacts of student fights. First, students (and families) who got into a fight himself is clearly negatively impacted first when injured or even killed. Second, damage to public facilities such as buses, bus stops and other facilities, as well as private facilities such as glass shops and vehicles. Third, disruption of the learning process at school. Finally, perhaps the most feared of educators, student awards were reduced to tolerance, peace and values the lives of others. The students learn that violence is the most effective way to solve their problems, and therefore choose to do anything to make the goal is reached. In the educational environment, student brawls gives it a much less impact for the good name of the school where the youth study. It also gives the impression to the public that teachers fail to teach how in addressing a problem correctly. But in fact, it is not true. Juvenile delinquency such as fighting not only caused by the failure of teachers in educating their students. But caused by many factors one of them teenage promiscuity is wrong.
In conclusion, juvenile delinquency is due to many factors of family, teenage promiscuity, and teenagers themselves. But it all depends on whether the teens themselves in solving the problems he must face with violence or not. When he finished with violence not only harming themselves but the others.

The vast majority of cannabis users do not develop psychosis, however, prompting us to hypothesize that some people are genetically vulnerable to the deleterious effects of cannabis.
In a longitudinal study of a representative birth cohort followed to adulthood, we tested why cannabis use is associated with the emergence of psychosis in a minority of users, but not in others.
A functional polymorphism in the catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) gene moderated the influence of adolescent cannabis use on developing adult psychosis. Carriers of the COMT valine158 allele were most likely to exhibit psychotic symptoms and to develop schizophreniform disorder if they used cannabis. Cannabis use had no such adverse influence on individuals with two copies of the methionine allele.
These findings provide evidence of a gene x environment interaction and suggest that a role of some susceptibility genes is to influence vulnerability to environmental pathogens.

According to Sudarsono (2008: 125), “family is the nearest environment for growing up and maturing their children, and they get the first education here.” So in this age they need education and guidance from their family. Only the rich man who will be official servant, knowledge and intelligence is no use if they don’t have much money. According to Baraba, Faiz(1987: 88),” A golden key opens every door.” So they only prepare much money to get their aim without thinking of the study achievement. It will cause bad effect for education quality because people will not pay attention to their responsibility in teaching well, but they only try to get advantage from their job to give back their money that use for bribe.

We found there are many people who have high education but not like people who have well educated. So when they are given a confidence to hold a work, they do fraudulence, like corrupt. Research conducted by Patterson, De Baryshe, and Ramsey (1989) said that,” the process of delinquent behavior as beginning with a lack of positive family interaction, leading to school failure and social rejection, then leading to associations with deviant peer groups”. Parents must understand that juvenile delinquency is a serious problem which can ruin the future of a child substantially.
School gives big effect for children to be good behavior. The teachers are very influence their behavior. The children are not only learn about lesson but learn about behavior in this live. Teacher can restrain them from juvenile delinquency such as honor with old person and they can feel happy when played together with their friend. Many kinds interesting play which can to be they study while playing. That is good effect for expand their thinking about something. There are many hardness by a girl in senior high school, it is a criminality which indicate the education is not success in Indonesia.
Technology can make teenagers to be juvenile delinquency. It can Influence behavior and their thinking about something. They can imitate bad behavior when they look at the pornography pictures. It make broken their behavior. according to, “Nowadays, TV channel makes teenagers more interested in everything about himself rather than social environment. TV invites them to think about how they look, how to attract the opposite sex, or how happy to be a celebrity. Things outside it such as education or environmental issues are not a priority, instead tend to be ignored”.
In conclusion, this problem have big challenge for us. We must teach them about good behavior so they avoid from the juvenile delinquency. Parents, teacher and society are important toward soul of the children so they don’t influence teenager delinquency. Failure achieve identity can restrain with good example. Juvenile is the highest wish who determines the future of a nation. Almost in every country, juvenile has large amount. Maybe because of two reasons, there is an idiom say that “The better juveniles behavior, the brighter nation’s future”. But now we can see, juvenile delinquency is not only found in big cities, but also in many villages. The delinquents are not only from the students of junior High School or Senior High School, but also students of university. Now juvenile delinquency is a major issue and is an aspect of crime which receives great attention from the news media and politicians. So, what are causal factors of juvenile delinquency? Are there the effects of juvenile delinquency toward education quality?. The writer will explain to us.
Before we discuss about causal factors and effect of juvenile delinquency, w have to know who is called as juvenile delinquent. “A juvenile delinquent is a person who is typically under the age of 18 and commits an act that otherwise would’ve been charged as a crime if they were an adult” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/juvenile_deliquencys). From the opinion above, we know that juvenile delinquency refers to antisocial or illegal behaviors by children or adolescent. This illegal behavior causes restless in society. The worse level and types of juvenile delinquency, the worse morality and law and order in a country. Consequently, juvenile delinquency can be the source of “moral panics”
There are many causal factors why juvenile delinquency happens. Blumstein (1995) stated that there were three primarily factors of juvenile delinquency: availability of drugs, availability of guns, and juvenile are recruited into illicit drug trade. In addition, OJJDP (1997) said that these were several factors that contributed to delinquency: there are so much spare time for juvenile, lack of positive adult supervision, scarcity of positive role models, juvenile abuse and neglect, parents who lack needed parenting skill, and juvenile with unmet needs for special education and mental health care. But I have addition opinion. In my opinion, the biggest factor that make juvenile delinquency is not harmonious family. Because, education values are shaped in children characteristic by family. For examples: conflict between parents and children, workaholic parents, parents don’t care about their children problems, etc.

As we have talked before, many juveniles delinquents are students. Of course it causes negative effects toward education quality. These are several effects:
• Lack of commitment to study : the juvenile delinquents deem that study barry their happiness. They are lazy to think about study.
• Academic failure: rarely come into school, and don’t make attention for studying.
• Drop out: because they often make errors and damages.
Beside three effects above. These are additional effects:
• There is no pleasure for other students to study because the juvenile delinquents often make noises and engages in a fight.
• Damage in school facility, because they like to spoil those.
• Declining of rate academic achievement in world view.
• Create stupid and lost generation who do not care about education.
• The country be a backward country in any of terms.
In conclusion, juvenile delinquency is a problem in all sector of society. After we know about the causal factors, we have to make effort for decreasing juvenile delinquency. Family, the smallest unit of society group, have the most influential role. For example ,create a comfortable atmosphere at home, provide spare time to share about children’s problem, etc. Beside that, school can promote learning, participation, and responsibility for students. In addition Oleh solihin ( 2002:79) add additional suggest, he stated that government should restrict violent shows aired on television and gave strict punishment to the delinquents who damage a public facility. And the last, every person must has responsibility and attention to make the juvenile delinquents aware. This is an obligation of us as a concern for the fate of education in our country.

BalasHapusAccordimg to Kartono (2003), juvenile delinquency or teenager delinquency is bad behavior of young children or malicious damage, symptoms (pathological) socially in children and teenages are caused by forms of social neglect, so they developed a deviant behavior. The juvenile delinquency refers to a broad range, from behavior which is not socially acceptable for a violation of criminal. So, it can be concluded that tendency of juvenile delinquency for acts which violate the rules can caused detriment or damage both to themselves and others. And generally juvenile delinquency is teenager under 17 years old. There are many factors which cause juvenile deliquency and its influences toward education quality.
BalasHapusJuvenile delinquency in general is the result of the failure of self-control system. That is failed supervise and regulate their actions and initiatives. The main factor which affect juvenile delinquency is family factors, such as the proximity of the parent and child, parenting styles, patterns of parental discipline, communication patterns within the family, children less attention, affection and guidance of parents, and their father and mother was busy taking care of their own problems and inner conflicts. Other factors which beides the family like the relationship with peer group and friends, the availability of various facilities such as cinemas, discotheques, entertainments, television, VCD, the Internet, access to drugs and pornographic books and alcoholic beverages. However, the families factor is greatly influence the incidence of juvenile delinquency. We often heard complaints from the teenagers that the family has no sense of anything. Therefore, means of the family must be applied in order to have meaning and benefit to future and prepare teens to their adulthood.
Teenagers who become perpetrators of delinquency often have low expectations of education in schools. They feel that the school is not so useful for life, so their values against the school tends to be low. They have no motivation for school. The indifferent of tennager to school and education created young generations which have bad moral. Besides family, the role of teachers in schools is also very important in order that we have education which have a high quality.
In conclusion, the most responsible factor which cause juvenile delinquency is less harmonious family factors and environmental factors, especially colleagues who are less good. Because now teenagers began to move away from home to peers. So that the interests, values and norms which are instilled by groups is more to specify the behavior of teenager in comparison with the values of the norms that exist within families and communities. However, juvenile delinquency must be controlled, because have damage to the education and future life.

The Effect of Teenager Delinquency toward Education Quality
Teen delinquency is consequential for a variety of educational and employment outcomes. From the National Longitudinal Survey of teenager we measure five forms of delinquency when respondents were 14-17 years old, and investigate whether they predict five different outcomes when those individuals were aged 25-30. Delinquency has also a fairly consistent impact on male occupational outcomes, but has weaker effects on female occupational outcomes. Overall, the data suggests that delinquency has autonomous and negative effects on later life chances. We find that all types of delinquency have consistently significant and negative impacts on educational attainment among both males and females, net of status attainment variables. Using a variety of regression models to get explore negative partial effects net of standard status attainment variables to measure delinquency as the prevalence of skipping school, drug use, violent behavior, engaging in property crime, and the other hand, we can explore whether delinquency has negative zero-order effects.
The first variable is “skipping school”, represented by a single question about the number of times over the previous year the respondent skipped school. Both common sense and previous research suggests to us that while skipping school ultimately depreciates achievements in the labor market, its effects will be most directly evident in educational attainments. While this item loaded with a series of questions regarding drug use, we decided to separate them in order to preserve their distinct theoretical meanings.
The second variable is “drugs”, which includes the number of times over the previous year the respondent drank alcoholic beverages, smoked marijuana or hashish, sold marijuana or hashish, and used other drugs. Standardized item alpha reliability for males =.77; for females, .74.
The third variable is “property crime”, derived from the number of times in the previous year the respondent intentionally damaged property, shoplifted, stole items worth less than $50 or more than $50, knew someone who held or sold stolen property, and had broken into a building. Standardized item alpha reliabilities were .84 for males and .69 for females.
The fourth variable is “violence”, consisting of the number of times over the previous year the respondent used force to obtain things, seriously threatened someone, attacked someone with the intention of injuring them, or had fought at school or work. Standardized item reliabilities were .55 for males and .73 for females.
Finally, the above-cited studies point to the importance of different measures of delinquency. Many offer either “mild” or non-criminal forms of delinquency, or only a single measure of “harder” delinquency. Since different forms of delinquency may have different impacts on life chances (a point discussed further below), studies that employ multiple measures of delinquency could help to better specify the links between deviance and resulting life chances.
Our expectations with respect to the effects of delinquency vary. At the bivariate level, we expect all forms of delinquency to have a negative impact upon school attainment, for both males and females. However, at the multivariate level, the more severe forms of delinquency, such as violence and property crime, may not be significant once key measures of background and cognitive skill are controlled. Those individuals most likely to engage in those crimes may come from the types of backgrounds or have the types of student profiles that result in poor school attainments. Further, while we expect delinquency to be important in models of educational attainment, those effects could be weaker in models of occupational attainment for the simple reason that the later occur later in time, and are more distant from the occurrence of teenage delinquency.

Usually synonymous with teenage issues of love or mutual love between the opposite sex. many teens yan pendidika who excel in the world it the name of nation and state, for example, only in greek mathematics Olympiad (Athens), here the state get the gold medal. nation's youth is the successor to dig his achievements.
The influence of juvenile delinquency to the world of education is quite a lot. in this case, many teens who tarnished the world of education by performing acts of anarchy, for example, just a fight between fellow students, drugs and free sex. and has recently occurred in the education of cheating has occurred on the UAS mass cheating in junior java. this is really embarrassing, the government should pay more attention to the teacher and the board and address this not to happen again in the future.
World of adolescents is a world full of turmoil and emotion. many teenagers who drop out of school because of deviating from the path of education. should parents be able to pay attention to her child interaction.
So, juvenile delinquency on education can be avoided by the attention and guidance of parents and teachers. it is intended for the good of youth itself both in education and socialization
